Biography

"However, it is generally not possible simply to maintain a level of process performance. The point is that a process is either slipping back or being improved, and the best and perhaps only way to prevent slipping back is to keep trying to move forward, even if only in small steps. Furthermore, in competitive markets treading water would mean falling behind if competitors are improving. Just sustaining, if it were possible, would in that case still equal slipping." - Toyota Kata, Mike Rother

This idea have been guiding me for a great deal of time, so naturally I have read this with great satisfaction since it echoes my thoughts.

I think it is essential for me to deal with process improvements. This mindset leads me at work and in my personal life. I expect the same way of continuous improvements from myself and at the same time I try to influence my environment towards the same direction.
